Tomorrow, 5th November is Bonfire night in the UK. It's the day we celebrate the discovery of the Gunpowder Plot to blow up the Houses of Parliament way back in time before I was a twinkle in my fathers eye.
At the moment, I guess that there are many around that wish Guy Fawkes had managed to light the blue touch paper at arm's length, retire to a safe distance and watch the spectacle. (A little homage to the Health & Safety Police).
Oh well, come to think of it, maybe he was in the wrong place anyway. I have never been a lover of politicians, with their painted on smiles and kiss the baby routine. (Yay for you John Prescott, you got balls and a wicked right hook). But even more than dislike politicians for their antics, I guess more people these day loath Bankers and Stockbrokers even more.
Should the come a day when there is a bonfire for bankers, I like many will stand back and gloat, and one thing is for sure:.............................
I wont be pissing on the fire. Will you?
