Oh I've been away too long.
Moved house, not to far from my old abode but it has taken me a long time to decide how I would set the new place up with media services. Cable or phone line with broadband and a digital t.v ariel.
The former won. And might I say I am pleased with the service and the cost which is far less than what I was paying.
Now that sparks the question. Why should BT charge line rental. I neither want or need a land line. Yet have to have one with my old ISP who provide the broadband service via the phone line. Seems to me that BT should consider dropping their line rental for phones a pass a small cost to broadband providers that use their cabling. But perhaps that is too simple a solution and will allow more calls to migrate to mobile services, as mine have.
